Private Yoga

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

You can start by contacting me. We will discuss your availability, needs, and schedule your first complimentary session. From there we can explore your interests, and create a plan to work together 1-3 times per week with sessions dedicated to you.

WHAT SUPPLIES DO I NEED?

You will need a yoga mat, 2 blocks, and a blanket. For convenience I offer starter kits available for purchase, or you can get these items on your own. If you are scheduling your private yoga class in studio theses items are available for you at no additional charge.

I’VE NEVER DONE YOGA BEFORE, IS THIS FOR ME?

Yes! I love working with beginners.

WHAT IF I HAVE AN INJURY?

One of the many benefits of having a private yoga session is it’s dedicated to you. We will discuss your needs before we meet on the mat, to ensure you have the best possible experience.

WHAT ABOUT SPECIAL OCCASIONS OR SMALL GROUPS?

I would love to hear about your needs and give you a quote.

I’M LOOKING FOR A ONE TIME SESSION, IS THAT AVAILABLE?

I typically work with clients that want an ongoing, weekly practice. Please contact me for possible availability.

After School Yoga

HOW DO I SIGN MY SCHOOL UP FOR YOUR PROGRAM?

If you’re looking to begin a new after school program please email Catrina.

DO YOU OFFER YOGA PROGRAMS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, CHARTER SCHOOLS, PRIVATE SCHOOLS, HOME SCHOOL COLLECTIVES?

Yes to all! Catrina works personally with principals and coordinators to ensure this program suits your students needs.

WILL THIS PROGRAM CONFLICT WITH MY RELIGIOUS BELIEFS?

No, nothing in my curriculum approaches religious teachings.  If you are concerned about this, please email Catrina.

MY CHILD PARTICIPATED IN THIRD GRADE, CAN THEY PARTICIPATE IN FORTH GRADE TOO? WILL THEY BE LEARNING THE SAME THINGS?

Yes, they absolutely can participate. Certain concepts will be reinforced however lessons and curriculum is always changing.

Nutrition Coaching

ISN’T NUTRITION AS SIMPLE AS COUNTING CALORIES?

Not quite. Simply telling someone who struggles with weight loss to cut their calories and exercise won’t be an effective strategy. You need concrete, actionable steps to move in the right direction. There’s also a lot of variables to consider such as their relationship with food, stress, and mental barriers. Discussing this background information is how I create an individualized approach to help you achieve your goals.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CERTIFIED NUTRITION COACH AND A REGISTERED DIETICIAN?

A Registered Dietician designs nutrition programs related to medical needs such as diabetes, hypertension, and to alleviate symptoms of many other diseases.

Nutrition coaches serve clients who want to loose weight in a healthy manner, increase energy, learn more about healthy eating and cooking. Many people work with a nutrition coach to help sift through all the confusing information that’s out there and to be held accountable. Nutrition coaches can work alongside your doctors recommendations.

I TRAVEL AND EAT OUT FREQUENTLY, WILL THIS STILL WORK FOR ME?

Absolutely! You can create a healthy lifestyle even while eating out often and traveling. If you decide you want to cook more, we can cover that too.
